What you can expect when you lease with Hillside Homes

A Memo from the Owner:

The goal of our company since its inception in 1975 has been to offer high quality, closely managed rental housing in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston. I am a builder licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston, and specialize in renovation and new construction of rental apartment units. I am also a stake holder in our diverse Mission Hill community. I have served as past President of Mission Hill Main Streets - our business district revitalization program, Co-Chair of the Mission Hill Board of Trade, and also on the board of Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services, co-developers of the new One Brigham Circle retail center featuring our new Stop & Shop and Walgreens. (Please click the Mission Hill Area page to learn more about our community).

Our Management Policy

We market our units to respectful adults. Loud parties or other disruptive behavior is strictly forbidden. These terms are written into all our leases giving you the knowledge that our apartments come with built in peace and quiet which translates into peace of mind.

OUR TENANT RELATIONS AND PROPERTY MANAGER is Tiffany Livingston (617-429-4770) All questions and maintenance issues will go first to Tiffany and/or directly to me. Tiffany, a Licensed Real Estate Agent, is responsible for unit rentals and continuing tenant relations.

MAINTENANCE is ongoing and full time. Any maintenance or repair issues come first to Tiffany and/or to my direct phone. Your concerns will be promptly addressed by our staff. For more extensive repairs we have carpentry, plumbing, electrical and heating subcontractors on call for quick response.

OUR APPLICATION PROCESS requires a personal interview with Tiffany, a completed application, first and last month's rent, and a refundable security deposit. Tiffany will require a commission fee for tenant selection and document preparation, as well. First month's rent is due as a deposit with the completed application. The last month's rent and security deposit are due at lease signing.
